Earth Fall was developed by Holospark and was released on October 6, 2015 for $14.99 on PC, Earth Fall will also be coming to Xbox and PlayStation 4 in the near future. A copy of Earth Fall was given to XenandCL by Earth Fall Gaming. This review has no bearing on my final thought about the game.
Earth Fall is a FPS (First Person Shooter) that takes place on Earth while being invaded by aliens. Earth Fall has a co-op mode as well as a solo mode, so you can team up with your friends or take the invasion on by yourself. There are four characters to choose from Maya, Danny, Roy, and Jonas. There are also seven different types of Aliens, Drones, Enragers, Threshers, Sappers, Beast, and Blackouts. You have two campaigns to go through in the game.
Each mission has a set of tasks that need to be completed in order to complete the mission. You have two sets of campaigns to go through in order to beat the game. The first campaign is called the invasive selection, and the second campaign is called natural selection. When you start the first campaign, you are going through trying to figure out what happen to the rest of your Allies. In the first campaign you are trying to establish a base of operation to counter the alien race. There are four missions with a fifth coming soon in the first campaign.
The second campaign has you going on the offensive to try and push the aliens back to their ships. Eventually you cause the big distraction to allow a massive bombing to commence on the aliens in hopes to cause the aliens to retreat back to their home planet. There are 5 missions as well in the second campaign, with two missions available and three to come soon.
All in all, I would highly recommend this game to my friends or any gamer looking for a fun affordable game to play. Although there is one issue with the AI, it does not really help you with handling the aliens as they should. The multiplayer is pretty awesome that people can join mid game and help you complete any task you may have trouble with. I would have to rate this game as outstanding, because Earth Fall did capture my interest and kept me playing to try and figure out more of what happened to all the allies.
