Plantera is developed by VaragtP and was released on January 28, 2018 for $2.99 on Steam. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) / Nintendo 3DS / Wii U / PlayStation Vita. A copy of Plantera was given to XenandCL for review purposes. This review has no bearing on my final thought about the game.
Plantera is a clicker/idle hybrid. You start off as a round blue creature dreaming of an amazing garden and when you wake up you want to make that dream a reality. You will begin your garden by clicking on three butterflies this will grant you access to your first crop carrots. You will continue to plant carrots until you have harvested enough to reach the next level then you will gain access to shrubs and eventually trees and little animals. The main goal of the game is to reach player level 20 this will allow the player to have access to everything the game has to offer.
Plantera was an enjoyable experience with the cute character designs and a couple obstacles such as crows stealing your crops; however the game is very short only took me 90 minutes to complete. This game is meant for a younger audience I think they would absolutely love that and for that reason I’m going to rank this as First-Class as it is very innovative and I love the way things interact while it was short it was very enjoyable.
